These paintings are a conversation between nature and technology.
The Dragonfly is always visible through the geometric openings that are
superimposed over the wing. In addition the transparent encaustic
layer that covers the dragonfly wing allows the texture and color from the
intricate design of the wing to show through in subtle ways.
